FDA Releases Guidance on HIV-1 Group O Infection Risk for Blood Donors

The FDA has made available a guidance document outlining interim measures to reduce the risk of HIV-1 Group O transmission by blood and blood products, following the detection of two cases of the infection in the US in 1996.
