FDA Withdraws Chlorhexidine Gluconate Topical Tincture 0.5% (Hibitane) Due to Safety Reasons
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has withdrawn chlorhexidine gluconate topical tincture 0.5% (Hibitane) from sale due to safety concerns. The FDA will not accept new applications for this product.
