FDA Announces Meetings to Discuss Microbial Safety of Produce

The FDA is hosting six grassroots meetings and one international meeting to gather input on a draft guide aimed at minimizing microbial food safety hazards for fresh fruits and vegetables, in response to the President's recent initiative to ensure the safety of imported and domestic produce.
