Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Submit Proprietary Mortgage Data to HUD for Protection

The Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac) have submitted a final order to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, which designates certain loan-level mortgage data as proprietary and prohibits its public release, while allowing for selective disclosure of de-identified information.
