Zaca Mine Project Environmental Impact Statement Cancellation in Toiyabe National Forest, California

The US Department of Agriculture's Forest Service and Alpine County Planning Department have cancelled the preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement/Report for the Zaca Mine Project after Western States Minerals Corporation withdrew its proposal, effectively ending the need for public comments. The cancellation follows a Notice of Intent to Prepare an EIS published in the Federal Register on February 8, 1995.
