CFTC Proposes Changes to Reduce Burden on FCMs and IBs for Financially Accredited Customers
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) is proposing changes to its rules to reduce the burden on futures commission merchants (FCMs) and introducing brokers (IBs) when dealing with financially accredited customers. The proposed amendments would eliminate the requirement for FCMs and IBs to provide written risk disclosure statements to these customers and obtain acknowledgments of receipt.
