Federal Agencies Request Public Comment on Proposed Revisions to Foreign Branch Report

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) and the FDIC have decided not to implement most proposed changes to the Foreign Branch Report, but will revise the reporting instructions to conform with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The agencies request public comment on the proposed revisions, which were submitted for OMB review on December 30, 1996.
