Imidacloprid Pesticide Tolerances and Feed Additive Regulation Established

The US government has set time-limited tolerances and a feed additive regulation for residues of imidacloprid, a widely used insecticide, on wheat and sugarbeets, with the regulations expiring three years after their effective date. Gustafson, Inc. submitted petitions under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act to establish maximum permissible levels for imidacloprid residues.
