Prototype Spent Nuclear Fuel Dry Transfer System

On July 14, 1995, the U.S. Department of Energy published a Federal Register Notice entitled ``Notice of Prototype Spent Nuclear Fuel Dry Transfer System Project'' (60 FR 36267). That notice invited letters of interest from electric utilities and other public and private entities interested in participating with DOE in a cooperative project for prototype fabrication, demonstration and/or licensing of a spent nuclear fuel dry transfer system currently being designed under a Cooperative Agreement between DOE and the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI). The Department of Energy hereby announces that the due date for letters of interest in response to that notice has been extended to September 22, 1995.
