Diethyl Phthalate; Toxic Chemical Release Reporting; Community Right-to-Know

EPA is granting a petition by proposing to delete diethyl phthalate (DEP) from the list of chemicals subject to reporting requirements under section 313 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) and section 6607 of the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 (PPA). Specifically, EPA is proposing to delete DEP because the Agency has preliminarily concluded that it meets the deletion criteria of EPCRA section 313(d)(3).
