NMFS Opens Directed Fishing for Pacific Cod in Gulf of Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is allowing vessels to catch Pacific cod using jig and pot gear for processing in the Central Regulatory Area of the Gulf of Alaska, in order to utilize the total allowable catch (TAC) for this species in the region.
