EPA Approves South Dakota's State Implementation Plan for Clean Air Act Compliance
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the State of South Dakota's revisions to its Air Pollution Control Program, which will replace existing rules with new chapters in the Administrative Rules of South Dakota, as requested by the state. The approved plan includes enhanced monitoring and compliance requirements for sources of hazardous air pollutants, and creates federally enforceable permit conditions for these sources.
