Bureau of Land Management Proposes Designation of 7 Areas of Critical Environmental Concern (ACECs) in Arcata Planning Area

The Bureau of Land Management has proposed designating seven areas of critical environmental concern, totaling over 35,000 acres, as part of an amendment to the Arcata Resource Management Plan, with the goal of protecting sensitive ecosystems in the region.
