Federal Employees Health Benefits Program Medically Underserved Areas for 1996 Determination Completed by OPM

The Office of Personnel Management has finalized the list of states that qualify as Medically Underserved Areas under the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program for 1996, with 11 states receiving special consideration for enrollees who receive covered health services in these areas. The states added to the list this year are Arkansas and Idaho, while Georgia has been removed.
