EPA Proposes Interim Approval of Alabama's Operating Permits Programs to Comply with Federal Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed interim approval of operating permits programs by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM), Jefferson County Department of Health (JCDH), and the City of Huntsville Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Management (City of Huntsville) to meet federal regulations requiring States to issue operating permits to major stationary sources and other sources.
