NMFS Proposes Threatened Status for Southern Oregon and Northern California Steelhead

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is issuing a supplementary proposed rule to address the omission of protective regulations for steelhead populations in the Klamath Mountains Province, which was previously proposed for listing under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 on March 16, 1995.
