Telluride Ski Area Lands Withdrawn from Mining for 50 Years

The US Forest Service has withdrawn approximately 4,000 acres of National Forest System lands from mining for 50 years to protect recreational resources and facilities at the Telluride Ski Area, allowing for continued use of the land for mining and mineral leasing.
