US Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes Endangered and Threatened Status for Four Chaparral Plants

The US Fish and Wildlife Service has proposed listing four chaparral plants from southwestern California and northwestern Baja California, Mexico, as endangered or threatened under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, due to habitat destruction and fragmentation caused by urban development and exotic plant species.
