EPA Proposes General NPDES Permit for Seafood Processors Near Pribilof Islands, Alaska

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing a general National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit for seafood processors operating within three nautical miles of the Pribilof Islands in Alaska, allowing them to discharge wastewater into U.S. waters, with the exception of certain protected areas.
