EPA Publishes Annual Adjustment Factors for Acid Rain Program Excess Emissions Penalty

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has published annual adjustment factors for the Acid Rain Program, which will be used to calculate penalties for excess sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxide emissions. The factors, effective for compliance years 1995 and 1996, will result in increased penalties for non-compliant units.
