NMFS Issues Regulations for Incidental Take of Marine Mammals in Gulf of Mexico

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued regulations allowing for the incidental taking of bottlenose and spotted dolphins in state waters and on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) in the Gulf of Mexico, in connection with oil and gas drilling and production activities.
