SWKR Operating Co., Inc. Exempted from Prior Approval for Railroad Abandonment in Cochise County, AZ

The US Commission has granted SWKR Operating Co., Inc. an exemption to abandon 17.26 miles of railroad lines in Cochise County, Arizona, subject to labor, environmental, and preservation conditions. The lines to be abandoned include the Bisbee Branch and a segment of the Douglas Branch, near the US-Mexico border.
