U.S. Defense Department Proposes Amendment to Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to Implement Uruguay Round Agreement

The Director of Defense Procurement is proposing to update the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to align with the renegotiated General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade Government Procurement Agreement, which took effect on January 1, 1996, as part of the Uruguay Round agreement, and is mandated by the Uruguay Round Agreement Act (Pub. L. 103-465) and the Trade Agreements Act of 1979.
