VA Amends Regulations for Ionizing Radiation-Related Diseases

The Department of Veterans Affairs has updated its adjudication regulations to include lymphomas other than Hodgkin's disease and cancer of the rectum as 'radiogenic' conditions, allowing veterans to receive service-connected compensation for these conditions resulting from exposure to ionizing radiation.
