Coast Guard Amends Damage Stability Standards for New Domestic Passenger Vessels

The U.S. Coast Guard is updating its rules on damage stability for new domestic passenger vessels, effective December 10, 1992, to reduce the risk of capsizing and other accidents, and alleviate regulatory burdens on certain vessels.
