Pratt & Whitney JT8D Series Turbofan Engines Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The FAA has issued an amendment to an existing airworthiness directive for Pratt & Whitney JT8D-1 to -17AR turbofan engines, relaxing the removal criteria for certain cracks in the combustion chamber 2-3 liner seam joint, allowing for additional revenue service.
