U.S. Army Evaluates Disposal and Reuse of Jefferson Proving Ground in Final Environmental Impact Statement

The U.S. Army has released a Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the disposal and reuse of Jefferson Proving Ground (JPG) in Indiana, which will result in the disposal of 55,264 acres of excess property. The FEIS assesses the environmental and socioeconomic impacts of the disposal and subsequent reuse, with no significant effects anticipated for any of the three disposal alternatives.
