EPA Raises Environmental Concerns Over Multiple Projects

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed environmental concerns regarding several projects, including the Energy Vision 2020, Mare Island Naval Shipyard Disposal and Reuse, and the American River Watershed Flood Plain Protection Project, due to potential impacts on groundwater, fish and wildlife, wetlands, and air quality. The EPA has requested additional information and discussions on these issues in the final Environmental Impact Statements (EIS).
