FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Hamilton Standard Propellers

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for Hamilton Standard 14RF, 247F, 14SF, and 6/5500/F series propellers, updating the inspection interval for propeller control unit (PCU) servo ballscrew internal spline (BIS) teeth and adding a new compliance end-date for the optional Secondary Drive Quill (SDQ) installation.
