Saab Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for SAAB SF340A and SAAB 340B Series Airplanes

Saab is proposing a new airworthiness directive that requires repetitive operational tests of the valve limit switch on the propeller brake of certain SAAB SF340A and SAAB 340B series airplanes to prevent a faulty warning system from failing to alert the crew when the propeller brake is not properly engaged.
