EPA Approves New Mexico State Implementation Plan for Transportation Conformity Rules

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a revision to the New Mexico State Implementation Plan (SIP) for the Albuquerque/Bernalillo County nonattainment area, which includes transportation conformity rules. This approval enables the local air quality control board to implement federal transportation conformity requirements.
