Commerce Department Establishes New Records Management System for Political Appointees

The Department of Commerce has designated the Office of White House Liaison as the central location for employee personnel files of political appointees, moving away from the current system that covers other federal agencies' records, in an effort to improve records management and accessibility for affected individuals.
