EPA Establishes Tolerance for Avermectin B 1 and Its Isomer in Bell Peppers

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a tolerance for combined residues of the insecticide avermectin B 1 and its delta-8,9-isomer in bell peppers, following a request from Merck Research Laboratories to establish a maximum permissible level under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
