Railroad Retirement Board Adjusts Timeframe for Submitting Unemployment and Sickness Claims Information

The Railroad Retirement Board is shortening the timeframe for railroad employers to submit information about unemployment and sickness claims from 7 calendar days to 3 business days, a change effective for a one-year period, prior to the agency's decision to pay or deny benefits.
