US Withdraws National Forest Lands for Visitor Centers and Marinas in South Dakota

The US Department of Agriculture, Forest Service has withdrawn 35 acres of National Forest System lands from mining laws for 20 years to protect the Pactola Visitor Information Center, Pactola Marina North, and Pactola Marina South. The lands remain open to mineral leasing and other lawful uses.
