EPA Announces Intent to Delete Whitewood Creek Site from National Priorities List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region VIII is seeking public comment on its plan to remove the Whitewood Creek Site from the National Priorities List (NPL), a list of contaminated sites identified under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA). The decision follows completion of all necessary response actions and confirmation that ongoing maintenance activities will protect human health and the environment.
