US EPA Delists Asbestos Processing Source Category and Revokes Initial List of Categories and Standards

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized the removal of the asbestos processing source category from the initial list of categories of sources of hazardous air pollutants (HAP), as well as the schedule for promulgation of emission standards, effective immediately.
