EPA Proposes Interim Approval of Mariposa Air Pollution Control District's Operating Permits Program

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed interim approval of the operating permits program submitted by the Mariposa Air Pollution Control District in California, which aims to comply with federal requirements for issuing permits to major stationary sources and other sources. The proposal also includes approval of Mariposa's mechanism for receiving delegation of section 112 standards.
