Decision That Nonconforming 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC Passenger Cars Are Eligible for Importation

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has announced that 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC passenger cars, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, are eligible for importation into the United States. These vehicles are substantially similar to a U.S.-certified version of the 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC and can be modified to comply with safety standards.
