Airworthiness Directives; Airbus Model A310 and A300-600 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Airbus Model A310 and A300-600 series airplanes, requiring modifications to flight control computers to prevent an out-of-trim condition that may reduce airplane controllability. The directive is a response to an accident where the crew may have initiated an inadvertent go-around, which could have led to severe loss of control.
