EPA Establishes Drinking Water Intake Zones in Hudson River, New York

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has finalized a regulation to create two drinking water intake zones in the Hudson River, in response to a request from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), to prohibit the discharge of vessel sewage into the affected areas.
