EPA Reopens Comment Period for Toxic Chemical Reporting Requirements

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has reopened the public comment period for 45 days to address a request to extend the deadline for commenting on the potential deletion of 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA) from the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act of 1986 (EPCRA) list of toxic chemicals. The EPA previously published a notice on October 27, 1995, which included an error regarding the green algal toxicity value of DBNPA.
