VA Announces Cost-of-Living Adjustments and Headstone Allowance Rate for Fiscal Year 1996

The Department of Veterans Affairs is required by law to announce cost-of-living adjustments to certain benefit rates and income limitations, which will affect pension and parents' dependency and indemnity compensation programs. The VA also sets the maximum reimbursement amount for headstones or markers purchased in lieu of government-provided headstones or markers, starting from October 1, 1995.
