Extension of the Public Comment Period for the Draft Waste Management Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement

This notice extends the public comment period for the Department of Energy's (DOE) Draft Waste Management Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (PEIS) for sixty days, from December 21, 1995 through February 19, 1996. All comments received by that date will be considered in preparing the final PEIS. A Notice of Availability of the draft was published on September 22, 1995 (60 FR 49264) and amended on October 25, 1995 (60 FR 54670) to revise the schedule of public hearings. All other information contained in the Notice of Availability as amended remains unchanged.
