EPA Proposes Administrative Settlement Under CERCLA for Eastern Surplus Superfund Site in Maine

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is proposing an administrative settlement to resolve liability under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) for the United States Department of Defense, related to response actions at the Eastern Surplus Superfund Site in Meddybemps, Maine. The EPA is seeking public comment on the proposed settlement.
