CSX Corporation and American Commercial Lines, Inc. Exempt from Regulations for Merger

The US Commission has granted exemptions to CSX Corporation, American Commercial Lines, Inc., and Conticarriers and Terminals, Inc. under 49 U.S.C. 10505(a), allowing ACL to acquire control of Conticarriers' barge assets and lease them to its subsidiary American Commercial Barge Line Company.
