Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards to Amend Air Brake Systems for Trucks, Buses, and Trailers

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is revising the air brake system standards for trucks, buses, and trailers to improve braking efficiency and reduce the number of out-of-adjustment brakes during inspections, in response to petitions for reconsideration.
