McDonnell Douglas DC-9 and C-9 Airplanes: Airworthiness Directive Amendment

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive amendment requiring replacement, inspection, and modification of main landing gear attach fittings on McDonnell Douglas DC-9 and C-9 military series airplanes to address reports of severe structural damage caused by overloaded main landing gear.
