Airbus Model A300 B2 and B4 Series Airplanes, Excluding Model A300-600 Series Airplanes - Airworthiness Directive
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive (AD) requiring Airbus Model A300 B2 and B4 series airplanes to measure the thickness of the inner skin of the longitudinal lap joint and inspect for stress corrosion cracking. The measure aims to prevent rapid depressurization of the airplane in case of undetected stress corrosion cracking.
