Airworthiness Directives; Boeing Model 757 and 767 Series Airplanes
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposes a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Boeing Model 757 and 767 series airplanes, requiring the replacement of the thrust management computer (TMC) to prevent an uncommanded runaway of the autothrottle during flight or ground operations. This proposal aims to address reports of a defective relay within the TMC that led to an uncommanded advancement of the throttle levers.
